Charity Auction

My Art Block for Ghana painting below is now up on E-bay for open bidding. Please come and check it out and join the bid. The profit of this painting will be 100% donate to the PBP Foundation.

The PBP Foundation gives parents, artists, and art enthusiasts a way to help, inspire and to bring resources and support to disadvantaged children around the world by: Providing financial support and supplies to organizations helping children in need with basic living necessities; bringing art and animation to the hands of children for their enjoyment encouraging creativity, motivation and education; and extending the talent and good will of the artist community to communities of children in need. A portion of the proceeds of this Auction will be donated to "Artists Help Japan" and Give2Asia Fund for the relief effort in Japan.

I am going to have another charity group art show in San Francisco for the Give2Asia-Artists Help Japan Fund on April 7th. More detail about the event will be posted as soon as I learn more information from the organizer.

Pomegranate

Finally I have a bit more free time this weekend to start thinking and planning for my next painting. This is for Girls Drawn Girls new book. My theme is "Pomegranate" - these are the sketches for the painting. The concept is inspired by the myth of Persephone.
