These are wonderful!!!! I love how you try to find the different surfaces for your art. I am the same way. However, I have never heard of "egyptian papyrus". I think that it works so well with your art. ^____^
Genie and Tam, Thank you. The papyrus surface is surprisingly very smooth for both pencil and brush. It's easy to draw and paint on. You can use color on it as well as black ink. This particular painting is black and white, is because that's the requirement of the gallery show.
It looks great! Maybe next time you could leave yourself inspire by egyptian themes... I'm sure your style is in the best position to attempt it!!! Regards
Sure, thanks for your answer, Alina! Black and white is great too, I was just curious about colors ^^ You made me want to try it now! I'll try to find some, I'm too curious ;p
Food and drugs : Yeah that's a great idea! But now that you're saying that, I think that an asiatic theme is relevant too, 'cause there were Lotus paper in asia, that must be something like the papyrus i guess? (maybe thinner, and more flexible but the texture and visual must be similar i think). Anyway i'd love too see it of course ♥
Good site! I truly love how it is simple on my eyes and the data are well written. I’m wondering how I might be notified whenever a new post has been made. I’ve subscribed to your RSS feed which must do the trick! Have a great day!

Oh I'm interested in your answer too! And, did you try with colors on it? (stupid question? maybe it just doesn't work??)
