Time fly!!! Today is school final!! YEAH!! End of an exciting school year, always rewarding to see how much the students progress over a year. They grow so much.

Anyhow ... I can't believe how fast time fly ... when I showed Little Mermaid in class last week. One of the kids told me, "Oh GREAT!! I never see Little Mermaid!! Always want to see that movie ..." OK ... you know you are GETTING OLD, when a 20 years old tell you, "I was not born, when Little Mermaid came out in the theater!!!" Ahhhhh ... Have time goes by so fast?!

Trying different watercolor approach, the portrait is kind of messy ... still haven't get a hang of the "oil" look with watercolor ... Hummm ... need more practice!!

Hahaha @ "You are not yet born!?!"
Kids today!
Even worse when the kids say that they were babies when 'Toy Story' premiered. :)
Hahaha, very humerous post, lol. Adorabl watercolour too!
Cheers!
Wait until a student tells you your paintings are older than them! Your watercolors are inspiring, as always. Now where are my brushes....
awwwww.
yeah- some folk never heard
of atari either...
I love the little comic stories
Age is just a state of mind. We are as old as we feel.
Beautiful flamingo.
Yikes, that makes me feel old too! That movie wasn't that long ago.
I really love your portrait. It has such a moving expression. Nice job!
Yeah....
Growing older sucks...

Thank you everyone for your visit and cool comments. ^__^ Have a GReat weekends!
I remember hearing someone once say "A girl's a girl, til she becomes a woman."
...Then I walked out of the room once I realized they were directing that towards me.
Dig the comics, as always.
that's funny! Little mermaid is actually the very first Disney feature i saw on theater! ;P
love the second picture, beautifull portrait!
the third (sorry)
Mermaid is awesome! Never got to see it in the theatre though :(
How funny! Used to have it on VHS:)
Good work!!

My little cousin didn't know what a Nintendo was!!!

ah! your job is very good (oh my god, my english!)
bye!!!
Fantastic!!
i love it... :))
Little kids have a very different concept of time. They think it must pass as fast as possible, and they see as old people everybody who is only a few years older than them.
I had born after 'Casablanca' release and that doesn't prevent me to be a close fan of that movie.
Art is beyond space and time. :-)
:-) :-) :-)
Don't know what different approach you're talking about for watercolor.. but one approach you might want to look up is Burt Silverman's .. He has a book called "Breaking the rules of watercolor".. he works on a smooth paper and is able to get a quality of oils in his paintings.
Nice work.
THank you all.
Bboy,
Thank you for the Burt Silverman's book recommendation. I will check it out!
Wonderful my friend!!
Well done Alina:)
