Every store fronts, decoration on the street, even the TV commericals are flooded with pink and red Valentine Day commericals and merchandises ... can't help not to join in the fun and post some related theme.Pink is one of my favorite colors ... but have to say, so many stuffs is cover to pink and red these days ... I feel like we need other sort of color to balance out.
Plus Valentine Day is sort of like watching a Avant-garde film. It's not exactly for everybody. It's like you either love it or you hate it, while others feel indifferent about it. Sooo ... here is my take on this curious holidays, some embrase it, while some doesn't like it so much. And yea ... still having fun with Anime style. HA! HA !!

I'm glad to hear you refer to Valentines Day as a "curious holiday". I guess that describes how I feel about it. I love my husband, but why have someone dictate to me how and when I should show that love. So we joke about Valentines Day. He says, "Be mine" and I say, "Be yourself!" He knows not to buy me the cliche` heart jewelery, that's everyone else's symbol of love. Does it have to be mine? He also doesn't get in trouble for forgeting the day. It's what he does every other day that matters most. And as for the over use of pink, don't even get me going on that.

Beautiful as always! Love the wings. I can't agree more about Valentines, very curious. I grew up disliking it because it was the day before my birthday and I would always get hard cards for both.

THank you. Most of these are watercolor with ink or pencils ... the red piece with green crazy hair girl below is digitally painted in Photoshop with the Wacom Tablet. ^_^
