Been very very busy lately, beside the day job and teaching ... I am working on little projects on the side. It gets tricky after a while, working on personal stuffs after work. I try to start a painting last night, but so tired ... looking at the sketch, trying to paint, but it doesn't feel right. Have to start the whole thing again ... DARN IT!! Too bad there is no undo button on paper!! Ooopss ... Instead, I end up scribble a "Fail" doodle for IF to express my frustration. Hate it when you can see the image in the head, but somehow the brain refuses to download it on paper ... soooo sleepy ...Below are two Spyro 2007 Cinematic storyboard. Top is from Scene 2, and bottom is Scene 3. Spyro artworks are copyrighted by the studios.

Spyro boards are super cool. I only ever played the first one when i was a kid, but I've really liked the style choices of the franchise.

yes! sometimes the head and the hand looks like in diferent bodies... the process of painting are misterious...but beauty work.

I can relate to the top sketch! I love the animal sketches below too. Next time I sketch at the zoo, I'll bring my pocket watercolor set! Great Idea!

The illustrations are wonderful Alina! I can so understand the ability to see something so CLEARLY in your head and yet it escapes the paper time after time.

Love the opening drawing! I can't decide if she's falling, laying down, jumping, or something else, but the motion of the piece is gorgeous. I love the crosshatching and the curling papers as well.

Thank you ... I like your interpretation. In my mind she is supposed to be sitting down and lying on the desk ... when I draw it, I am very exhausted and half lying on the coach ... so I just draw how I feel at that moment ... never really think about the details ... Humm ... I think your feedback just give me some new inspiration .... Thank you!
It's sooo frustrating when you cannot transfer that image from mind to paper...great work. I am sure MOST of us can relate to that...
