IF - "Green"

Hearst Castle Trip is a lot of fun. This is a sketch of the San Simeon State Park early morning. Many people have been asking me what drawing materials I use, so I take a photo of my art materials on site. HE! HE!!

My basic drawings set, which follow me everywhere, usually contains: a Winsor & Newton Cotman Sketchers' Pocket Box; 2 Japanese water brush, a Namiki Falcon Fountain Pen, Fine nib and a black ink pen.

I for one really appreciate your listing of your tools *with the picture!* ... this is a lovely rendering that really gives one the feeling of spring.

How do you deal with 'looky loos'? I have a terrible time trying to concentrate with people looking over my shoulder.

THank you everyone for your kind comments.

Soo,
THank you. My drawings are usually 15 - 20 mins quick sketches. The speed helps to keep everything loose. :)

Terrific work, Alina! And it's fun to learn a bit about your process.

Very nicely done as always. Love your set up with the tools of the trade. Even the composition of the picture, paints and pen looks like a work of art in itself. Great Job as always:)
