Route 66 Williams sketches

Williams, Arizona is named after William "Old Bill" Williams, a mountain man and trader who often trapped in the area. It is a city in Coconino County, lies on the route of Historic Route 66, Interstate 40, and the Southwest Chief Amtrak train route. It is also the southern terminus of the Grand Canyon Railway, which takes visitors to Grand Canyon Village.

Alina I love the two drawings on the botton... you just keep getting better and better. Just the right balance between looseness and detail. Really yoummy good.
(don't have your hands out too long in sub-cold... you can do permanent damage before you know it.. if your ink is freezing your fingers can too)hcnzib

Idahl,

beautiful travel sketches !

And congratulations on being able to draw in really cold weather. When it gets cold my fingers normally are getting very white and numb very quickly and feel like they fall of every minute. it's almost impossible to hold a pen then :)

Those bottom two totally remind me of Williams and 66. Very well done. The Red Garter Bakery and Bed and Breakfast was - not surprisingly - once a brothel. Great place. Definitely worth a visit. Fun people with a lot of historical information about the place.
