Seeing students going to school, and being a part time teacher, reminded me of the good old school day. I drew this drawing while watching HBO, Rome. HA !! HA !! I add toys and photo from the old days to make it more interesting. The photo was my thesis workstation.

BBQ party at my friend's place over the weekend, I draw these from memory after I go home. The lighting in the court yard is sooo pretty, and the food table feels very warm and welcoming, the images stay in my mind after the party. Can't help not to put the lovely scenery on paper.

Sunday evening, I meet Ray Bradbury and Irvin Kershner at a local university library event. It ís an award tribute to Irvin Kershner in the honor of Ray Bradbury!! It’s an enlightening experience meeting two extraordinary storytellers, scholars, and artists with good sense of humors, innovative vision, and admirable insight towards the society and deep perspective in life; yet humble and down-to-earth.

Now that I am on-line ... Itchy to post this silly paper bag doodle on-line. Drew this today when I am half napping, and watching Cartoon Network. I often seek inspiration from the Giants in fine arts for new ideas and animation design. Below are some drawings, which are influenced by some of my favorite artists. I adapted this particular drawing style from Marc Chagall. Love Chagall's free and colorful composition, the used of symbolism, and the storytelling quality in his painting.

Always love Alexander Calder's mobile! This is a concept art of a mobile design, I was planning to make for wall decoration in my bedroom.

Here are the character concept arts of E=mc2.

This is the main female character in the film, Electron.

Some people have been asking me about the film, since my last posting. Here are some fun facts about the film:

- The film is released in 2001, and received an Student Emmy during that year. It's my last student film, and also my graduate thesis.

- It took 2 years to complete from script to screen. I animate, direct and produce the film.
